As events specialists who have run events programmes for the likes of Orange and Pepsico, Corporate Innovations will provide some valuable experience in organising the logistics for the Festival which includes a Family Fun Day and Deddington Rocks on Saturday 5th July in the Deddington Market Place.
Now in its sixth year the Deddington Festival kicks off for 2008 on 26th June, again offering a broad spectrum of arts & cultural performances and activities in and around the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Deddington. The programme includes a wide range of contemporary and classical Music, Literature and Fine Art as well as a range of fun entertainments for all the family.
Watt, a local Deddington resident, said: ‘As a company we decided that we would like to get involved in a community project in 2008. Everyone agreed that The Deddington Festival was the ideal local charity to help. The Festival programme makes a significant contribution to enhancing the community spirit and aims to contribute significantly to the education of local residents and their children.
Events on 5th July will include art and music workshops, seroc dancing and a children’s fashion show but in the evening the Market Square will transform into a concert venue hosting well-known local bands like Fontaines, The Sirens Call and Cantaloop who have supported The Fun Lovin’ Criminals on their European tour. All of this activity needs a lot of support and coordination which is why Corporate Innovations have pledged to help make 2008 the best Festival yet ‘
