The ceremony, held at Kings College in Cambridge, was hosted by Jeremy Vine and acknowledged local businesses and entrepreneurs. Originally Gareth Baldwin was nominated for Business Person of the Year however judges were said to be so impressed with his positive and inspirational leadership as Chairman of Histon Football Club, they created a one-off award for him.
Gareth Baldwin said: ‘What a compliment - I am so pleased to be recognised as an Inspirational Leader. The judges said that they liked my business ethos which undoubtedly has been influenced by my ‘day job’ colleagues and clients at Corporate Innovations. ’
