Win a Skoda with Walkers!

Walkers had a market share of over 45% within Morrisons stores however, were facing increasingly tough competition from own-brand crisps. They approached Corporate Innovations to help them maintain sales momentum with a summer promotion to increase sales of the variety packs, in particular the Cheese & Onion and Meaty 26-packs.

Morrison’s customers, with the ideal target demographics, were offered the chance to win one of seven Skoda Roomsters when they purchased a 26-pack of Walkers crisps.

Branded displays advertised the competition in 370 stores, with Roomsters displayed in 140 of those stores, throughout the UK. Purchasers could view the Roomster up-close and book a test drive with one of the dealership staff on-site. Customers were asked to complete the competition form and answer a question about the car on display.

The campaign had excellent results for all partners and participants. Walkers achieved prime positioning in-store for the duration of the promotion and Skoda achieved unprecedented results for a partnership promotion.
