KISS FOR BLISS

Kiss for BLISS

the full story

When Corporate Innovations employee Tom Franklin won his place to run this year’s London Marathon, on behalf of the charity caring for premature babies BLISS, he realised he had to come up with some fundraising ideas fast. Naturally, working for an events marketing agency, he turned to his colleagues for ideas and support.

Among many other fundraising ideas Tom seemed to strike a chord with his colleagues and his local community when he decided that not only could he raise some money, he could also turn his activity to finding a new girlfriend!

Valentines Day kicked off his Kiss for Bliss campaign and it started in the office - many of his colleagues were female and there were no complaints! Tom also took his ‘kisses’ to Banbury town centre where he offered a kiss to passing strangers for £1 each. Not only did he attract the local media and BBC News he raised a
total of £120 on the day.

Not content with stopping there, Corporate Innovations managing director David Watt, also challenged his employees to run for Sport Relief – by doing so he would also award Tom extra money for his charity for every mile they ran. So far, Tom has almost reached his target of raising £2,500 for Bliss but sadly has not yet found the woman of his dreams.
