SPYBUSTERS was an incentive campaign to 10,000 resellers through 50 offices, across 23 countries throughout EMEA.
The promotional campaign was developed to support an internal McAfee Product Guarantee campaign. This was derived from McAfee’s need to increase their ‘Spyware’ product sales during the quarter. The primary objective was to create an incentive programme to deliver increased sales of McAfee Spyware products. It was essential that the programme presented a clear promotional brand that could be easily translated into five languages and one that would be easily recognised across a pan EMEA base.
The creation of a ‘Spiff Kit’ enabled 50 offices to run internal incentive days simultaneously without the costs associated with having event managers on-site, and with the support of a ‘virtual event team’ throughout the day.
Our continual vigilance and contact with the Foreign and Commonwealth travel advisors, our commitment to health and safety, and our responsibility for our clients guests enabled us to act quickly to a situation arising and we managed to change our destination without affecting the results of the campaign.
Iceland lived up to everyone’s expectations as a fabulous spy location and the transfer of the programme elements worked perfectly on the island of Fire and Ice. The moonscape landscape provided an excellent backdrop to the SPYBUSTERS mission. The mystery and intrigue of the island coupled with the cool exuberant air got the guests in the mood for a weekend of action packed fun.
The Spybusters campaign was such a success for Corporate Innovations, the campaign was awarded an ITMA Gold Award for Best Creative Use of a Small Budget and an ITMA Silver Award for Best Integrated Solution.
